The reason why track weapons like Lotus Exige and Lexus LC can't do well in mountain passes is the suspension design, they are innately built for circuit racing.
I find it weird they didnt mention how changing the intake and exhaust will add some horsepower and reduce some weight. I know its not much but its still a boost. wonder why.
I wished they would also do some body stiffening work on the 86 without affecting body weight due to mfg's weight:grip rule. Something like adding strut towers for the front or maybe more spot welds for the car joint.
0:44 How come the red 6 pot brake calipers help in cutting down on tire wear? … I'm quite sure the grip or the potential of the tire that is left, while a car is racing, helps in reducing the braking distance. a 6 or even 9 pot brake caliper doesn't serve the purpose.

Nice.. But i believe the year of the storyline is either 2035 or 2040s.. Where actual tuning garages are gone or just do replacement parts for EV.. Bit like Initial D where everyone thought was in the late 90s but was actually 2005 or 2007..

I get that in a downhill race power matters less than it normally would.
