There's actually no announcement if we'll be getting more episodes, as there's still no additional contebt from the manga. Some speculate Kubo will be working for an original anime content for BTW
By manga standards this was actually the starter for the series to test and see if people liked it (that's why its 0.8 and not ep 01) the other episodes is actually the start of the story. Hence, the extra lore and characters – I guess for the anime they wanted more action and story to hook people better so they went the other way around.
We not gonna see more episodes for this anytime soon but I suspect we will see more manga chapters some time after BLEACH TYBW ends. Kubo is working on Season 2 for the burn the witch manga and the extra "No breaths from Hell ARC" (time-skip post-TYBW) for Bleach [only 1 chapter out for this].
I also remember reading that Kubo's priority is on Burn the witch before he makes more chapters for the new bleach arc.
