Henlo, my Famboos! I see a lot of you requested this song to me. And I’m super happy to finally sing it for all of you this week. 🐼💖
Samurai X / Rurouni Kenshin was aired in a local channel before but I wasn’t able to watch it because our TV couldn’t catch a clear signal with that channel. 😅 My family didn’t see the need of a cable TV back then. My other classmates who were lucky enough to watch it were talking about it nonstop. How they have a crush on Kenshin, etc. Hahaha! They were requesting me to sing this song, back then too! I just dismiss them by saying I have no idea how the song goes. Which was true, by the way. But then, my crush approached me and suggested I should learn it. And so I finally did. 😂
Learning a Japanese song wasn’t easy that time. Internet wasn’t common in households. My friend was able to record the TV clip of the song and I’d spend my free time trying to get the lyrics or should I say, my grasp of how it sounds to me. 😅 And believe me, it was fun!

I checked every Sobakasu covers on YouTube and this is the best that we can have compared to the original. Even the Japanese pronunciation is spot on. Yes, there are other Sobakasu with high views, cute face and good singing, but still subpar compared to this. Too bad this channel is underrated.
