I caught something interesting in the second watch of this ep. In the first part, when Mizusawa explain to Tomozaki the whole thing about being popular, he said something like flirt with girls and then, when your popularity increases, the girl who likes you is gonna have to take a step forward and take the initiative….and THAT'S EXACTLY what happened to Mimimi in the end.
We're seeing how Mimimi reacts when they talk about other girls and tomozaki. Last ep with Kikuchi, and now when they said Gumi's name. It's like she's realizing he has been make connections with other girls, and now is the time to "claim" him if she can.
About him and Kikuchi, i kinda see it happening for real. They both are a little shy (she's way more), and both like novels and such. But still, it's kinda hard making him make a decision now. The man still is trying to fight his own insecurity, so this is not the best moment to do this.

The my favorite girl in oregairu was Yui and when she confessed first and lost I was so sad but I’m a Fuuka fan so it means my ships chance of sailing is much better.
Yo! I did not see that confession coming. I found Minami getting jealous lately really cute but didn't think she'd go for the confession. Love her, so what's his answer gonna be? Also waiting to see what Hinami's reaction will be.
Mizusawa's a good guy and friend. It was nice seeing Tomozaki's effort being recognised. I do wonder if what Aoi said was the truth, doubt it. I can understand how Tomozaki felt about thinking he doesn't deserve to choose. The bottom tier character has been ingrained in himself and while he has come far it's still not enough to make that decision. Anyway found some of the dialogues of this episode cringe again but otherwise was fine.
I also want to see Mimimi win but man…I think there's an analogy in the last episode when Tomozaki was rushing to finish his ramen and choking in order to keep up with Mimimi but with Kikuchi he's more comfortable and relaxed and can just be himself around her which makes her the better option from a logical point of view but that also just makes me want to see him choose Mimimi more because it's something new and interesting to see how they work out their relationship whereas with Kikuchi it'll just pretty much be the same as it is now except maybe a bit more intimate.
Tomozaki gonna fumble hard and end up with aoi or somebody lmao
