    I can't understand how the vicious stepsister just assumed if Miyo broke off her engagement to Kudo that she would merely and happily replace her in Kudo's life and Kudo would be okay with that. She was so self serving and self absorbed, she felt just because he was a physically beautiful man (I guess she was discarding all the reasons they sent Miyo to him to begin with: not just getting rid of her but joining her to a cruel, emotionally closed off, ruthless man whom she and her mother assumed would mistreat her the way they had only to ensure she would be miserable and abused for the rest of her life) and she was so used to taking what little her stepsister had that he'd marry her instead of Miyo as if he had no say in the matter. Was she that egotistical to think he'd want to come home to someone like her every night, wake up next to her every morning, raise children with her entitled self and listen to her mouth on his day off? Not to mention the kind of mother-in-law he'd have: he has a mother in name only he never sees and admitted he doesn't know what a mother's love is like because his mother would rather travel and let a housekeeper raise he and his sister and then he ends up with a mother-in-law who raised a hellion for a daughter. The poor man would be better off remaining single and married to his career than that viper and her venomous mother. I'm so glad Miyo found her self worth in Kudo's presence and she blossomed beautifully in all ways and he discovered his gentleness and softness in her presence in his own home. That family deserved to lose everything in that fire, and they deserved to shockingly discover after the fact the most prominent gift Miyo actually did have. Combined with Kudo's gift, wealth, prominence and power he held via his career and reputation, they became the power couple that no one could, or ever would mess with again. He not only destroyed their home while rescuing his fiancé, he destroyed their name, credibility, integrity and pride. A fitting end to a slithering family.

    This part is my favorite. The way he was showing how much he cares about her. He's willing to burn the whole house down just to look for her. He's such a wonderful man to her. Beautiful couple!
