It's still weird to hear people says that the BtW anime adaptation as a 1 season 3 episodes short OVA/ONA series, just because it was released as such internationally or at least to the westerners, where in fact it was released as a feature-length animated theatrical run (cinematic movie) in Japan.

Burn the Witch was filled with completely obnoxious main characters with WAY too much screen time and I couldn't sit through the anime. The worst part is their behavior is treated like it's okay.
Bleach has obnoxious characters too but they are side characters with limited screen time except when adding comedic relief. Even then they get punched in the face, kicked, or otherwise called out every time for their behavior.
Maybe if the prequel does something different with them to make them endearing I might enjoy it but otherwise I'll stick to Bleach.

Kubo should focus on Bleach and give us Hell Arc. Put Burn the Witch on the shelf for now.
I vaguely remember Burn the Witch and honestly thought they just forgot about it all these years later.
Wasn't super impressed, as I would rather them do Can't Fear Your Own World or a continuation with Hell arc and Kazui Kurosaki
But at this point, Bleach fans are good with whatever morsel of content they got. It's all at least something
I genuinely hope some day we gonna get a mix of two branches and how they actually connect. Like Sasakibe prequel special with him trying to find himself in the Western Branch? If Kubo won't write it, I hope at least one of the novelists decides to do so.

Even if BTW isnt for you, supporting Kubo and his other work and letting him take a break from bleach is what he needs to regain his motivation for more bleach content in the future. He already stated that the more he’s pressured for more bleach the less he wants to do it.
