I'm not so sure now is a good time to turn on Filoni. I mean, honestly, I still feel like if anyonencan save Star Wars it would be him. He just needs to play the political game for a while longer for KK to get booted so he can return to form.
At least the way things are now he still has one hand on the steering wheel even if Ahsoka show was a turd. I cant help but wonder if this isnt some elaborate scheme by KK to have fans turn on Filoni because if so, she's playing everyone DVD included like a fiddle.

Ashoka was ok,… it really bothered me how absolutely useless the villains starfighters were and how dumb the plot got to keep characters alive/ have characters appear/walk off etc., but it was at least better than what we've been getting lately (save Andor, Mandalorian season 1, 2 and rouge one). Maybe Filoni will be a step in the right direction. I may be delusional but I'm actually a little bit hopeful for the first time in a long long time with this news. I hope he brings Favreau with him and gradually seizes the franchise back for the fans. He may have to move slowly at first given the powers that be, but i trust Filoni has a master plan and is just making small sacrifices along the way to appease the Kennadietes that still have power while he slowly takes over and sets things on a better path. God help us all if this isn't true.
At this point i want to see it through and see just how far Disney will take their shows and parks over the cliff. I was at extended family for Thanksgiving and we watched the new Jungle Cruise and my it was woke af!

Also, yeah, go watch it, it's spectacular. The flashbacks are a little annoying because there's a lot of them. But the story is tight and extremely well crafted. The characters are phenomenal, right down to their names. And they only do something mildly meta once, and it teaches you a valuable lesson along the way.
For those that don't know, I won't give spoilers. But it tells you the turning point of one of the main characters. Which, to be fair, we were asking for since episode 1. But then when we get it, it's just like "oh…..well that's lame. I guess the mystery was better than any explanation we could've gotten."
Be warned- the new episode of Doctor Who is worse than you feared.

Ahsoka Season One was the closest thing to what I wanted from a Star Wars TV series. It wasn't perfect. Could have had a way better TESBesque ending, but yeah, it's my favorite so far. I think the big problem here is that Star Wars does not translate well to episodic TV. The only time it worked great (for me) was Clone Wars and Rebels. And Ahsoka is the closest thing we've come to that.
Veil of the Force was a stupid concept right from the beginning. Star Wars don’t need no time travel… Regardless if it would lead to reversing the disney Sequels or not. 😑

I agree with most of you points except 1. X-Files was shit. I grew up in the 80's and love sci-fi, drama, action, etc… And I hated that show. David ducovney and Jillian Anderson are both awful boring actors and the show was an absolute snoozefest

Gee, last I heard from Doomcock (and this was some time ago), she was told to not come in to the office / stay away for two weeks while some sort of internal investigation / financial audit was taking place? The however-many "horsemen" that Doomcock was always talking about?
I mean, I get that this is obviously evidence that the can't get rid of her, but I don't recall any reporting here of Kennedy actually coming back into the office or discussion about what that audit may have come up with.
I'd rather Jon Favreau. Dave Filoni betrayed the fans years ago, and is clearly a member of the Darth Kennedy Faction; a faction whose goal is to destroy Star Wars, something they've been succeeding in.
I’m willing to see what happens. He obviously can’t just come out and say Kathy is an idiot and her stupid ideology gets forced into everything I create. Of coarse he can’t say I’m now dictating the entire story from here on out. Now that he has taken some of her control away things may start moving in the right direction.
Seeing how they seem unable to fire Kathy, they can just take away responsibility until her title of CEO is reduced to something like the Queen of England in the British government. No real power just a figure head.
I am going to go into full delusional mode and say the reason Ashoka was underwhelming in several areas is because KK was all up in the process and mucked it up…. and now Filoni can make it right. Hey, a man can dream right?

There is nothing positive about Disney or Lucasfilm. Blackrock will destroy the company before they it get taken over by anyone who wants to fix it.
And here is my prediction for Mandalorian Season 4. It will make Ahsoka look entertaining. They are going to completely destroy the series.
The focus will be on Bo-Katan and not Din Djarin. And they will get away with it because the show is called The Mandalorian, and Bo-Katan is a Mandalorian.
With Pedro Pascal leaving the show this is all obvious. And I'm betting that John Favreau will have little to nothing to do with the season. Despite him saying he already wrote the stories. DF and KK will rewrite during shooting.
This is all under the assumption they actually do a Season 4. Which may not happen.
I was okey with the Ahsoka show, – hoping it would be better then the kenobi show.. well, until a lightsaber stab stopped being fatal.. that was like a wakeup slap
