  1. A sick young man who can't do nothing but just surrender to die. Life is painfull and merciless, as the bible tells too

  2. started watching this anime to prepare for next season's Shoot! and my god this scene was one of the best and most hype inducing I've seen in a pretty long time, and here I am not being able to stop waching this scene over and over again while still not even having finished the anime itself yet.
    god this was so amazing

  3. I love how, in fiction, every time someone wants to portray a player scoring the best goal of their career, they immediately try to imitate Maradona's second goal against England in 1986, of dodging like half the team from far away and scoring by themselves.
This scene always gives a bitersweet feeling. Sure, Kubo died the way he lived, loving soccer and playing it with all his heart. This goal was his greatest accomplishment. But it also gives you a glimpse of just how far he could have gotten in soccer if he didn't have a disease. The great career that never was, and the only ones that will know about it will be his friends and rivals that played against him.

  4. When Kubo's legendary goal was shown in the first ep of the new show, it made me tear up. I'm really glad there is a new show, despite being 100% sure it can't fill the massive shoes of the golden days hahaha.

  5. Wow what a nice solo, unbelievable, DO IT AGAIN!

    I would rather DIE.
