Danielle had just moved into her new home when all of a sudden, a wild magpie landed at her feet. He would follow her around and sit on her knee. Then, he brought his son over. Before long, 25 teenage magpies were playing in her yard!

This so cool; seriously.
magpies sound like a messed up autotune.
💓💓💓💓💓💓💓🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I love them, and love this video
Modern day Snow White.
Ahahaha! They found a place to hang out.
Heckle and Jeckle
😍
Wow these birds are the only reason i choose to get out of bed in the morning. Such a sad statement😢
Australians will say these birds aren't toxic but i guess they are on the same level as scorpions 🤔
2:40 you don't? who held the camera at 2:33?
but however I love your videos
This is what I live for
I have magpie trauma so I hate them
According to my research it is believed that those who are born of a witch generate certain abilities. One of these abilities, is the ability to generate an aura that attracts animals, and gives them a sense of closure so maybe this woman should look into her ancestry
I needed this today, Thank you
Im American. I want to go to Australia just because of magpies 😂
Ive met familys of magpie that 'own' certain parks.
They remember my uniform and truck( i swear😊)
I always feed them suitable snacks
I just chired at a magpie and threw some cooked potato in his direction, he first flew away then a minute later came up to my window and kinda inspected me i think. He didnt touch the potatoes i think and was gone later. he also made some noises but i dont understand. Did i do something wrong? Maybe hes not as trusting as the magpie you interacted with. I wrote down the time because ive heard they have a really good internal clock. I will try again tomorrow and see if he or she will be there. Maybe ill try with bread then. I think i was doing something wrong, maybe its cause i chirped back. He must think im crazy speaking that gibberish wannabe bird sounds. I mean i dont expect him to talk human language why would heexpect me to talk bird.
People always going on about how savage the animal kingdom is. I just watched a video of a guy with a pet lion, the truth of it is we all just want to feel loved, even the most vicious apex predators.
Play time is the gateway to animal and human socialization.
First person to meet a magpie that didnt try to kill you immediately upon seeing you
I think I would follow around this beautiful woman as well
Amazing ❤❤
This definitely does not mirror most peoples first experiences with magpies.
I remember being my first year of primary school, playing on the school oval which is surrounded my trees. All of a sudden I felt a gust of wind behind me as I felt a sharp stabbing pain on my skull.
🥰
Dodo full of bad information and false information. Never sub I don't even know why this is a suggestion, every video I see has some misinformation that needs reporting but nothing ever happens. Because
"The more one can manipulate knowledge and suppress knowledge the more people will dismiss what's actually happening because they can't perceive the knowledge"
Brainwashing
Such a brilliant and social bird!
yeah…that's pretty much everything nice about Australia, everything else tries to eat your face
Judging by the sound, that's not a bird, it's a flying 56k modem
Ah, so they're Australian Magpies?
Such a beautiful video. I’m from and live In Los Angeles. I just became aware of the Magpie bird attacking people in Australia. Now YouTube recommended this wonderful video. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays. 🙏🏼🎄❤️
Very cool to see this.
Im curious if a wild group could also protect you. Because these kind of birds are very smart.
Would love to see that😁
Oh Izzy you’re great 👍🏻
They obviously sense you're a good person. Its amazing
Glad for you that your neighbours are not like mine
Magpies are absolutely the best.
Yeah I never thought I would have a bird companion, one day I decided under a gum tree in the outback, I woke up to baby princess parrot napping on my chest, I woke her up, I put her in a tree, she flew straight back down to me.
So I put her in the tree again, started walking to my car, and she flew to me again, I looked at her right in the eyes, she just looked back, I asked her if she wanted to come with me, well she did, I did notice something weird with her eyes, I noticed she was a bit awkward when flying.
She's an albino, I took her to a vet, they looked over her, I went to leave the parrot in their care, oh my did she throw a tantrum, I just let out this sigh, I took her.
I have tried to release her multiple times, wildlife workers have tried to release her, she keeps coming back to me.
No matter what I do she just keeps coming back, so when I made it back to the Coffs coast, I stopped in petbarn and got her a cage, some toys, food, everything a parrot needs.
Got home, as I was building the cage, I was like right we need some ground rules if this is going to work.
She can't waste food, she has to sleep in her cage, if I'm not home she has to be in her cage, when I'm home she has free run of the house, every day she might do flight exercises, I wanted to improve her ability to fly.
It started with very light objects, I would put it somewhere, she would watch me, I would ask her to bring it to me, she had to fly with it.
I have slowly increased the weight, she is currently retrieving my car keys for me.
I never wanted a bird, now I have a bird, I don't regret a minute of it.
She doesn't mimic, she talks properly.
She has conversations with you, sometimes it's actual words mixed with princess parrot chatter.
Not to mention the blowing kisses, the girls love that one lol.
My partner walks in with her friends the bird just says "mwah".
They all think it's cute.
For a species of parrot that's not real keen on interacting with people this one loves people.
Only lets me touch her, but happily asks other people questions.
The popular one is "what's your name?"
Those are weird looking dogs mam
Clipping a wild birds wing is outrageous thing to say, who would do that? Seriously
Hey mate what ya doing this arvo? Just taking my 20 magpies for a bit of a walk
