   Here is the thing, Dangai Ichigo didn't need to use Mugetsu to fight against Aizen. So, why he did it? Because as Ichigo said "I'll finish this at once". Ichigo knew he was already superior to Aizen, but he also knew that if the fight extended more, Aizen would keep evolving more and more, to the point where not even the Dangai form would be strong enough anymore, so Ichigo decided to do a definitive technique to finish Aizen as quickly as possible
