Never seen the Fate series, but I love mythology and history and I've had a couple friends mention this but also how the series is nutty to get into. Saw this came out and decided to watch it, didn't regret it one bit. That Gilgamesh and Enkidu fight was amazing. I will definitely watch the series but looks like I might have to do some homework while I wait.

I'm concerned about this. Firstly because I only know about some of these callbacks (because of the other Fate projects I watched), but I'm completely unaware about the other references mentioned here. I don't want to feel like I'm left out while watching this because I didn't search for EVERYTHING in the franchise.
My other concern is that the source material is still on going, so how are we going to adapt something that's not even finished? Are we going to deviate from the OG novels? I surely know people would hate that.
