I have not watched this anime yet (waiting for end of episode), but by the merchant reaction its a definition of horror experience whether u able to live next day or u have to come and get used to it until well u are numbing urself; fun fact the mayor is a human but not a human . . . . . .
If only he know that so called normal-loking village chief/mayor is actually the most powerful of the bunch that not even the dragon race doesn't dare to mess with
