この感情の主は、天秤の姿をしたこのドッペルを見て人々の未来を知ることができる。このドッペルは予言の客観性を確保するために主に無機質で構成されており、天秤の一方の皿には“希望”、もう一方には“絶望”を示す印が刻まれている。皿の上に載せられているのは、救われる命と、救われない命の重みであるが、これらは主以外の者には視ることができないため、主の予言に耳を貸す者は少ない。これは「すべてを救いたい」という祈りとひきかえに、ひとりの少女としての心を殺した者に下される呪いである。
