The city of Sanford has been looking into how to get rid of a contaminant in its water supply for years. Mayor Art Woodruff spoke with News 6 on Friday about how city officials worked to find the source of the 1,4-dioxane contamination and what they’re doing to make sure their water stays safe to drink.
