Akatsuki is one assassin you do not want to get into a PvP fight with. Akatsuki has a weapon that can literally destroy your gear. Haganemushi-Tatara;
"A legendary short sword that causes any armor it strikes to instantly rust away, earning it the name Haganemushi, or ‘metal-eating bug’. Any blade it clashes against grows duller with each blow."
Akatsuki could win a fight against Asuna from SAO. And possibly against Yuuki. Oh sure those two are fast, but so is Akatsuki. Their Original Sword Skill "Mother's Rosario", that's only good against a single target and when all 11 hits actually connect. But with how fast Akatsuki is and using her Overskill "Shadow Lurk", good luck hitting her.
But then again, even if either Asuna or Yuuki blocked Akatsuki's attacks with their swords, and get her with Mother's Rosario before she uses Shadow Lurk, it's not going to do much against Akatsuki. By then, their swords are going to be severely weakened. Both structurally and damage output because again, Akatsuki's weapon causes armor to instantly rust away and blades to dull with every strike.
When Asuna/Yuuki's swords are destroyed, Akatsuki would then use Shadow Lurk to finish them off.
This scene in the last episode of season three when she gives the speech was one of the best love declarations across all media becuase it felt really and is the backbone of a healthy relationship, "admiration is the furthest thing from understanding" and understanding is a base for true love
