As a Gen Z, there’re not too many people who know about this anime in my generation. Being a big fan of Ocean Waves, I wanna share it to let more people know about this great anime movie.
Ocean Waves (海がきこえる/聽海濤聲/바다가 들린다) This film was animated by Studio Ghibli. It is based on a Japanese novel of the same name written by Saeko Himuro (氷室 冴子) in 1990. Also, it has a TV drama in 1995.

5 Centimeters per Second (秒速5センチメートル/秒速5厘米/초속 5센티미터) is a 2007 Japanese romantic drama animated film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. It theatrically premiered on 3 March 2007. The film consists of three segments, each following a period in the protagonist Takaki Tōno’s life and his relationships with the girls around him.

The Place Promised in Our Early Days (雲のむこう、約束の場所, 雲之彼端，約定的地方,구름의 저편, 약속의 장소) is a 2004 Japanese anime film written, produced, cinematographed, directed and edited by Makoto Shinkai in his feature film debut. Set over several years in an alternate history where the Soviet Union occupies half of Japan, it follows two childhood friends who grow apart after one of their friends disappears. As international tensions rise and a mysterious tower built by the Union starts replacing matter around it with matter from other universes, they cross paths once again and realize their missing friend might be the key to saving the world.

The Garden of Words (言の葉の庭/言葉之庭/언어의 정원) is a 2013 Japanese anime drama film written, directed and edited by Makoto Shinkai, animated by CoMix Wave Films and distributed by Toho. Story about a 15-year-old boy and 27-year-old woman find an unlikely friendship one rainy day in the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

I Want to Eat Your Pancreas (君の膵臓をたべたい, 我想吃掉你的胰臟,너의 췌장을 먹고 싶어) also known as Let Me Eat Your Pancreas, is a novel by the Japanese writer Yoru Sumino. Initially serialized as a web novel in the user-generated site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2014, the book was published in print in 2015 by Futabasha. A manga adaptation ran from 2016 to 2017. A live-action film titled Let Me Eat Your Pancreas premiered in 2017, and an anime film adaptation on 2018.
