  1. Slicing the carrots on alternating diagonals not only looks attractive, but increase the amount of surface area exposed to the broth, so they can flavour the soup more strongly without being overcooked! I love the "not enough" portion joke. Momoko has a sly sense of humour!

  2. I love this series and this interaction between Kiyo and Mokomo. I especially love how carefully fleshed out Ai Hoshimoto's character Momoko is, and she isn't so one dimensional and isn't written off as being difficult or a diva.

  3. This is such a sweet series. At first, I could not figure out why Mokomo would consider Kiyo as a rival, then I learned that when sisters are paired it is a sisterhood for life until one of them dies. Kiyo was already Sumire's sister. I love all of the characters and the casting was brilliant.

  4. I also recommend the old movie "Little Forest" by the actress who plays the older sister. Japanese home cooking looks delicious

  5. After having seen some of the manga and anime that this series is based on, I think Nana Mori was the perfect choice to play the role of Kiyo. She is so cute and cheerful. She perfectly portrays this character,

  6. このシーン、漫画だとクリームシチューじゃなくて豚汁だったね☺️
    世界中の方が見ても美味しそうな想像ができるようにクリームシチューにしたのかな❤

  7. great series with outstanding performances by Nana Mori and the entire cast. I would love to see a sequel/second part.💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  8. ahhhh just realized that the actress who plays Kiyo was in the movie WEATHERING WITH YOU who voiced HINA!!!! OMG no wonder why i liked her in this show.

  9. Ms. Mojo is from "Little Forest", isn't she? No wonder she said "really my competition" at 3:39… OMG 😃
