If that one quote from Bill Cipher (Gravity Falls) means anything to me, we could be for one hell of a ride for Date A Live Season 5 as this is signaling that "she" is going to appear in full and Kurumi absorbing "Reine" into her shadows in Season 4's finale is just the start of what's to come.
This part of the soundtrack captured the moment so well. The rather large cliffhanger left me with a lingering sense of dread. The way it built on the suspense and left me asking questions at the end of the season, questions that I know won't have pleasant answers. It gave me chills, and the soundtrack conveyed that perfectly.
Hey, since most of the people have already watched 4th season of Date a live, I have a question. When did you started to understand who Reine actually is? 🙂 (Just in case ur wondering, to me that understanding came when I saw girl who had hair with same grey color in Kurumi's flashback)
Even I spoiled me via synopsis about the upcoming stuff and who the first spirit is, I still was a little surprised, scared and excited when this scene happened in the anime. But I hope Season 5 will be better than S4. I was a little kind of unsatisfied with it. I don't know why. Even with my beloved "Worst Spirit" Kurumi.
Speaking of: Do you know what was even worse than the worst spirit? The damn cliffhanger… I hope S5 comes in earlier 2023. Even I know about something. About something horrible will happen. The good thing on this is, it will have a positive plot twist. But it's still horrible. T_T
Season 5 is gonna push everyone to their absolute limits…. and even then that may not be enough…
Shido REALLY has his work cut out for him this time cause NOTHING compares to what's to come. Dealing with the other spirits was like being on Easy mode. Now it'll be like jumping from that to the hardest difficulty. And spoilers….
Direct fighting is NOT an option…. Nia told Kurumi that the first spirit could not be defeated for a VERY good reason. Even the "game breaking" powers that Kurumi, Mukuro, and (formerly) Nia had is NOTHING compared to a god-level of power. fitting since she's essentially the mother of all spirits.
