She didn't. Because Regrowth doesn't work on dead people. She didn't. Because if she had, the killswitch in Tatsuya's brain would have triggered making him meltdown and use Material Burst on Earth itself.
There is a lot of speculation that Tatsuya can revive the dead. He cannot. He never revived his mother so that should be pretty obvious. JUST the two supernatural powers (Restoration and Decomposition are NOT magic) are what nearly got him killed by his own family. They knew those powers existed back when he was a child. Them knowing he has those powers, but never forced him to revive the dead is telling.
"When used on someone, even if their heart has already stopped, their brain shut down, or their throat torn open, if this is the extent of their injuries then revival is still possible. Even an instantly fatal wound, as long as rebuilding the body and restarting the circulation of blood would have had even the faintest chance of resuscitating the person, then Regrowth can save them." The second sentence here is the key and it's not like "oh, he just wasn't able to be there and revive them within 24 hours." Think Princess Bride: "There's a big difference between Mostly-Dead and All-Dead"
And yes, Tatsuya really does have a mutual destruction killswitch thanks to his Mother and Aunt.
The moment Tatsuya say Miyuki's corpse was the moment we all knew some mother fucker was going to die.
And thus anime's biggest brocon was born
