I get Kotaro is innocent about relationships, but he acted like a better person then Mr. Manga who was more sarcastic then empathetic towards Mrs. Hostess. & seeing Mr. Manga near-dying trying to keep up with Kotaro running like he's on a mission made me laugh like a fool. Kotaro's like 'Crying? Don't worry, I've GOT THIS! I know all about how to straighten up after crying all night.' & then the feels hit you like an izekai Truck full of tissue boxes.
When he fell down,i know he literally crying in heart heart and said something like"It hurt,come on kotarou!You must be strong".He literally just doesn't want people to see his weak side. I noticed something when he said " i see lot adult crying in my life",he also apply to his own mother.
