Okay, I totally scream in this big spoiler that I saw on bilibili it says:
BGM: Infinite Plot: Cheng Xiao could never forget Lu Guang's death, and later realized that Lu Guang had a crush on him, so he used illusion to modify the book of life and death at the expense of his life, and entered the photo to reverse the past in exchange for Lu Guang's life. I'm still a bit confused about something, I do not get Liu Min's alibi. So I understand it wasn't Liu Min who killed Emma because we see the friend possess her body and make her jump, but Liu Min had to have been at the crime scene still because he was also in the car accident right next to where Emma jumped, so how was he at the hospital at 1 am? Did the friend possess his body to take him to the hospital? If he did, the police would be suspicious of how he walked that far, then suddenly became paralyzed. Also, what did they do with Liu Min's crashed car right by the crime scene, why was that not mentioned? I haven't rewatched the finale in a while so maybe I am missing something (or completely overcomplicating it), but yeah I am very confused about that part lol

the ending had left me shook, i was confused, but shook. as someone else in the comments says @Elma Exxxtra Thicc i agree with their theory. the friend is cheng xiaoshi in an alternate timeline, which would explain the red eyes, as when cheng xiaoshi enters a picture the victim has yellow eyes.
lu guang states that death isnt smtg to be meddled with, and cheng xiaoshi has done it several times, which led to him probably creating an alternate timeline during one of these moments without knowing. i personally believe he opened this alternate timeline during the case with the guy on the basketball team (forgot his name lol( and the earthquake. this timeline, as people have said in the comments, is when qiao ling wasnt there to support him.
now this "friend" clearly has had a convo of some sorts with cheng xiaoshi before, as per the texts, call, and dialouge. my question is how did they meet? and why target qiao ling as one of the people who got posessed, and stab lu guang.
there has to be someone we have met on this series that knows what has been going on for them to target the people they did, as states in the video "anyone can be posessed" so the real question is. Why were the people who were possesed, posessed? and were these cases intentionally send to qiao ling, lu guang, and cheng xiaoshi in order to have them caught up in this? there are still plenty of questions to be answered.
and im sure we all were a bit confused but hopefully season two can clear things up. also in the ending, during the phone beeping, if you listen closely, it is said that ypu can hear a womanly voice says "oh poor lu guang!" This HAS to have something to do with it. and i said it, WOMANLY voice, why a women, why say "oh poor lu guang!" ????????? hmmmmmmmmmm.
also yes i was also mesmorized by cheng xiaoshis abs in that one second scene LOL. i hope lu guang stays alive, hes my favorite character, and i feel so bad for qiao ling and cheng xiaoshi. stared at my screen in shock for 10 minutes and started sobbing after i finished it.
also i watched s2 trailer, oh god, i am so excited and scared i literally cannot wait. i am shookkkkkkk

edit: oh also we see "friend" possess blondie, emma, and qiao ling at the same time, unless everything was happening in a different timeline…. so how did they posess three people from different timelines?

i'm wondering – why did cheng xiaoshi teleport to the present after the scene with emma? we can see him wanting to grab emma but he suddenly teleported to the normal life WITHOUT CLAPPING. was lu guang the one who clapped once after being stabbed? maybe "the friend" that possessed qiao ling took his hands and clapped it? or by pure coincidence, that was the time that 12 hours had passed so xiaoshi teleported to the present world?

I was also confused why they showed those random scenes so I had to rewatch it multiple times. I ended up with the same conclusion so I was looking for confirmation from the writers or from people who also thought the same. I'm glad I found your channel. I think Emma was destined to die. Cheng Xiaoshi travelling back in time and changing the past only changed the REASON for their death, but it still resulted in the same outcome. Even if Cheng Xiaoshi never interfered in her life, she would've committed suicide after what happened in her company.
