A beautiful piece written by Hideki Sakamoto for the game “Bungo to Arukemisto”. I was so happy to receive a mail from Sakamoto-San, about 3 years ago wanting me to arrange and play on his Piano Collection album together with amazing pianists Takana Miyamoto and Kumi Tanioka.
It was my first official credit as an arranger and I am still very happy to had the chance to write for this wonderful project. The music of Hideki Sakamoto can be heard on many various soundtracks like the Yakuza series and many more. He also wrote the title melody for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sakamoto’s sense of interesting harmonies in combination with great melodies makes his music very unique. He is also a very professional and nice human being too. Please enjoy!
