I tried my best with the subtitle work. All it really needed was white text + a solid black outline but my editing software didn’t have the outline option. If someone knows of a *free* editing software that offers subtitle customization with outlines I’ll reupload this for a better viewing experience. Never saw this when it initially released but back then, this was P5’s first time being animated outside the game so that was a big deal. It’s a pretty great experience. Doesn’t leave a remarkable impression but the highlight of it is Joker’s characterization. Comparing the strong, confident, and capable Joker in this episode 0 and then leading into episode 1 (of the anime) where he doesn’t exhibit these qualities but slowly gains them is quite satisfying. Lastly, noting the differences of how Joker leads/treats the Phantom Thieves and how Kazuya Makigami leads/treats his gang of thieves is an interesting parallel~
