Im just gonna leave this here because I just thought about this after Canute and Thorfinn met. God has made us imperfect people, but he also gave us an imperfect land. If the land was perfect, there wouldn't be a need to build or farm. Things would be created for us. If we were perfect, then there wouldn't be a need to negotiate or go to war. We would simply just understand. Didn't think an anime would make me start thinking philosophically, but here we are.
