    I am a Fairy Tail fan, and a Dark Fantasy is going to be a different take on his writing style. I think the protagonist looks like a K' with blonde hair from the King of Fighters series.

    I usually don' t go for Dark Fantasy but since its my man Mashima writing it i'll check it out. That's not to say i haven't seen or read anything dark but its very rare for me to enjoy the edgelord nonsense where everyone dies. That's what i think of when i hear 'Dark Fantasy.' But… We'll see what happens.

    I kinda doubt it, since every Mashima creation had the same vibe: Orphan kid with optimistic personality had OP power inside of him, having female sidekick turn into love interest with weird pets (homage to previous creation), Heart Cruz product as they are same universe (which is cool), a cool onee- sama lady, a weird rival, and last is a motto or mindset every character that rivaled Vin Diesel which is FAMILY and NAKAMA.

    We had Erza Scarlet in Fairy Tail and Elsie Crimson in Edens Zero, so I'm looking forward to meeting Elza Ruby in this new series
