士郎正宗さんのマンガが原作の人気アニメ「攻殻機動隊」をスカーレット・ヨハンソンさん主演で実写化したハリウッド映画「ゴースト・イン・ザ・シェル」（ルパート・サンダース監督）の新映像が公開された。少佐（ヨハンソンさん）がビルの上から落下していくおなじみのシーンで始まる30秒の映像で、少佐の“片腕”バトー（ピルー・アスベックさん）に加え、片目にアイパッチを装備した「サイトー」とおぼしき人物の姿も登場する。
また不気味な芸者ロボットや「攻殻機動隊」シリーズには欠かせない多脚戦車も映し出され、マイケル・ピットさん扮（ふん）する革命家のクゼにより、少佐の顔のパーツが外される衝撃的なシーンも収められている。
「攻殻機動隊」は、近未来の電脳化社会を舞台に架空の公安組織の活躍を描いた作品。原作マンガは1989年から25年以上にわたって展開されている人気シリーズで、押井守監督が手がけた劇場版アニメ「GHOST IN THE SHELL／攻殻機動隊」（95年）、「イノセンス」（2004年）に加え、「攻殻機動隊 STAND ALONE COMPLEX（S.A.C.）」シリーズ、「攻殻機動隊 ARISE」シリーズも製作された。
実写版ハリウッド映画には、少佐の上司・荒巻役でビートたけしさん、オリジナルキャラクターであるオウレイ博士役でジュリエット・ビノシュさんも出演している。北米では3月31日に公開され、日本では4月7日に公開される。

“A new video of the Hollywood movie “”Ghost in the Shell”” (directed by Rupert Sunders) starring Scarlet Johansson has been released. The movie is adapted from the famous anime “”Stand Alone Complex”” based on Masamune Shirow’s original manga.”
The 30-second video begins with a familiar scene in which the Major (Johansson) falls from the top of a building. Apart from Bateau (Pilou Asbæk), the major’s “right arm”, a character who wears an eye patch covering one of his eyes and looks like “Saito” also appears.
