I'm also a very simple person – I see cute characters with animal characteristics (or in this mythical characteristics) and I like it! Also, he seems to have been the strongest of all of the party. Even if he wasn't, Beast Tamer is actually an incredibly useful skill and one that a party should have. I already love Kanade our Cat Spirit & based on the visual with her explanation, he's going to be the leader of a party/harem of the most powerful species ever. The blonde girls must be the fairies, the redhead who saw using fire in the opening is the dragonoid, and the tiny girl is the demi-god (9 tailed fox it looks like). Anyway, I'm in!
I can already smell the hero's party to collapse under the weight of the logistics the "useless" member was hefting to support them, and it'll be delicious
