I definitely miss this show! It's been a while since a show made me subconsciously have the biggest smile on my face whenever I would watch an episode or look at the fan art of this family. Love everything about it, but I wished they gave us a reason as to why Kazuki became an assassin and maybe get some closure as to who killed his wife (but then again I do think they hinted at it pretty hard and we already know without it being spelled out to us) and see Kazuki's reaction to the killer, but then again that lighter revenge was probably a callback and a parallel.
Also, if we had to compare it to Spy x Family, if we look at it from the perspective of which feels like a real family (or which one seems to have the closest relationship with one another, I would say the Buddy Daddies one wins this one. Like it feels like all three of them love and care for each other, while in the Spy x Family one, it feels like two of them do that and one of them occasionally, like we know that Yor loves Anya to bits but Loid flips flops to loving his daughter to doing things only for the mission and sometimes it feels like he sees her only as a tool (he views Yor the same way) but there are moments in which he genuinely cares for his family, it's just that with each episode, it feels like it depends on his mood of whether he likes them or he is doing his mission shenanigans
If you haven't seen it, I recommend reacting to Konosuba. I think you'd like it!

Fuck no need to call me out
Oh… i never saw the last episode cause I thought that it ended, this is more satisfying
i really liked this show! i can't rank it above Spy x Family bc of the cleverness of that premise and the tight execution of it, but this holds a special spot in my heart. I'm a sucker for these Three Men and a Baby-type shows where clueless men end up with a kid somehow and become really wholesome parents by the end. and i think that while Spy x Family does an amazing job at showing the bombastic, comedic side of that premise, Buddy Daddies was much more down to earth. Just the episode of them taking Miri to daycare for the first time, buying her swanky clothes bc they don't understand normal children dynamics, sewing loops on her towels, it was all so real and kinda clueless and sweet. It's the parenting side of this show that really sells it for me.
I think the fact that he doesn’t get to have any lost words is wonderful. Dramatic irony at its best.
If you want an anime with a very good and just the right amount of funny dub version I would suggest The Case Study of Vanitas or Vanitas no Carte as a next project although it is partially romance, cus I have a feeling it will be very up your alley imo. it’s one of the very few dubs I actually enjoy and think it doesn’t take away from any of the quality in the japanese version because they very much have the same vibes when it comes to voices
Please watch welcome to demon school iruma, please please please!!!!!!
they're literally so gay
BUDDY SADDIES
The dub was really good, especially Kazuki, but Miri in the sub sounds like an actual kid and that made her way cuter to me!
Can u post another Oshi no ko???(Plss bro I even decided to skip tmr school)
(Because I’m sick 😷)
Day 45 of asking you to react to vampire knights
I really enjoyed your series of reactions to this show 🎉
Danny i hope you see this
Theres a really underrated phenomenal anime i want you to watch its really short too. One season only 11 episodes
Grimgar Ashes and Illusions or another name Grimgar of fantasy and Ash
the dubs actually really good the voice actors are perfect and fit the mood.
its really grounded and hits the feels. The backgrounds are all beautiful paintings… Please give it a watch . TY <3 id love to see your reaction.
can’t believe he hasn’t done aot reactions yet
Oh man, I loved Buddy Daddies. I cried almost every episode. I rooted for Rei and Kazuki. I even loved Kyu (although I thought he was going to get more of a backstory).
However… I hated the timeskip at the end. I would’ve rather had them drive away into the sunset or something. I think showing grown up Miri was a mistake. I think showing the guys owning a cafe was a mistake. It leaves nothing to the imagination, but also skips over really important scenes like when they talked to Miri about her mom.
It's like they tried too hard to make it picture perfect, I guess?
I honestly don't think it needs a second season, but I wish the ending had been done differently.
Did someone hurt you bruh? 😂
Day one asking danny to watch HxH
I read the Spy X family manga, but I might be in the minority here and prefer Buddy Daddies. I would describe S X F as stagnant while Buddy Daddies had actual character arcs, which is something incredible to do in only 12 episodes.
your video title scared me into watching this first in case one of the main 3 died DX
"Anythinn can keep going. Especially when it comes to anime."
**sighs in Noragami, Yona of the Dawn, Deadman Wonderland…**
"The same blood that was in your Hamburg steak this morning. You ate me, Miri. And soon we will be one." FIRST, WHAT THE FUCK–
