積みプラモデルのキットを紹介する動画の第149弾は、アリイから発売の「超時空要塞マクロス」より、1/100スケール「バトロイド・バルキリー VF-1D」です。

アメリカではロボテックでもお馴染みですね。

1997年に発売です。

ウチにはガンプラ以外で、こういった勿体なくて作れないプラモデルがいくつか有ります。

今から15年前の1982年10月、従来のアニメーションの枠をこえた作品が登場した。それが「マクロス」であった。メカニックの迫力キャラクターの魅力など、すばらしい出来栄えで、アニメ作品の中でも”名作中の名作”と呼ばれた作品である。地球時間でおよそ50万年の間、大宇宙を舞台にゼントラーディ軍と監察軍は戦いつづけてきた。その戦いのなかで全長1200mにも及ぶ巨大宇宙戦艦が地球に落下してきた。それから10年後、その宇宙戦艦は再生され「マクロス」と命名された。そのマクロスが宇宙へ旅立とうとしたその日、ゼントラーディ軍が再び現われ、戦いが始まった。激しい戦いのなかで、数奇な運命で結ばれるパイロット一条輝と少女リン・ミンメイの”愛の物語”である。BATTROID VALKYRIE バトロイド、ガウォーク、ファイターと3段の変形が可能な戦闘メカ・バルキリーは指揮官用、複座など4タイプがある。陸上用・空中戦どちらも対応できる。また、ブースターを装備した大気圏戦闘用のスーパーバルキリーもある。
