It is not a second personality. It's the card itself, Ace Cards in this anime are weapon types, meaning the card summons a type of weapon, this case a "cursed katana". Reason why she changes like that is cause with the sword sheathed she ain't using it's power so the sword doesn'ttake over and she can use it with what she learned on swordplay, but unsheathing it brings out the power of her card, and as her master said "If she doesn't control the power the sword will take control over her", so it ain't a second personality is more like the weapon possesing her body.
I think she's either possessed by the sword or possessed by her card being fully active. Either way, this character is over the top and amazing.
