Artist’s Note: Yeah, I’ll admit it. I was afraid when Nishikawa was announced as the artist for this season’s op. Eden Through the Rough still gives me nightmares. Of course, I’m joking. Sort of.
Anyway, I was very pleasantly surprised by this song. It was not only easier for me to recreate from scratch and then sing, but also, there were a few pretty direct references to the plot of this upcoming season (i.e. 29 & 30). Whoever wrote the original lyrics is absolutely a fan of this series, and I appreciate them so much for that. This track feels powerful in a different way than Nishikawa’s last EZ opening… it’s melancholic yet hopeful. I really like this track, and I hope y’all enjoy my rendition of it!
