Ohh deary me, another MAD. This one is a lot different than the last! Mainly because I thought this was gonna be easy…spoiler: I was proven wrong.
A lot of the video changed up whole lines from the original song, which I didn’t notice first time watching it. As well, there are a lot of puns and wordplay (which is why I wanted to translate it honestly). Read the pinned comment for details on all of that, because I can’t fit it in a 5,000 word limit desc.
What I will say here, however, is that because most of the lines were changed and there was no subtitles, I had to play it by ear…and I’m not a native. Hell, I’m not even advance in my Japanese studies yet, so I most likely got something wrong. Because of this, I will share with you MY lyrics; what I heard from playing this dang video over million of times on .25 speed trying to pick out the words. If you’re better at Japanese than me, by all means, correct any mistranslations. It’s not easy to understand a sentenced-mixed Light Yagami.
