    Uno constantemente quiere regresar al mundo de "The untamed", recorrer sus lugares, vivir la magia y ser amigo de los personajes. No creo que otro protagonista pueda superar a Wei, si lo piensas no tuvo un gran progreso como personaje: comienza infantil, curioso e inteligente, a pesar de todo lo que pierde a lo largo de la historia no se deshace de ese toque de su personalidad, a lo sumo es más cuidadoso y más dependiente de Lan Zhan, e igualmente consigue conquistar porque Wei es del tipo que lucha por sus valores, por lo que cree, por lo que siente y es lo moralmente correcto. Cuando Wei mira atrás y se pregunta ¿Ha valido la pena perder a toda mi familia y tener el repudio de todos por nada? Lan Zhan, su pequeño hijo adoptado y el general fantasma son la respuesta… Ha conseguido salvar tres vidas, mismas que posteriormente lo salvan a él. Puedes pensar en que Wei cometió errores por ser joven e imprudente (y sí) pero él y Lan Zhan nacieron para estar juntos y a su manera, con tropiezos y sufriendo las consecuencias de sus acciones, decidieron pelear por la vida y por lo que todos creímos debía hacerse pero nadie se atrevería a hacerlo.
