During the ending of the school festival Junichirou “Jun” Kubota asks Aizawa Tomo out to dance and basically confesses his feelings. Shocked by this Tomo runs away. Jun then seeks advice from Misaki Kousuke who tells him to be honest. Jun thus goes to Misuzu Gundou and tells her that he likes Tomo. She isnt impressed but still asks Jun if she was his first love. Jun says no as Tomos mom was his first love. Jun then confesses to Tomo. Shocked Tomo runs away again and seeks help from Misuzu and Carol Olston. Misuzu then tells her while crying that Tomo just has to be herself and so Tomo seeks out Jun. Jun and Tomo then both confess to each other. But they also say that they want to keep competing with each other also staying as a rival and friend.
