  1. Nice episode and my reaction was same as you guys in the whole episode! I always early for your reaction because the upload time is midnight here and it's perfect for my bedtime stories 😁

  2. u can see hints of canute secretly hating on what he's doing, killing people and having to do dirty stuff to get more power. for eg- estrid says canute looks like he's in a lot of pain. then you see canute throwing away his sword after the sparring.

  3. Bruh no matter how coward Olmar he aint killing his dad. That prediction is wild XD

  4. i love the irony of the master potentially being killed right after thorfin swore off fighting for good LMAOOO revenge once more

  5. Its gonna be more peak from here 🔥🔥🔥🔥 vinland is gonna get darker from here , can't wait to see a peak moment but thats a spoiler so im not gonna tell that but peak show and reaction 🔥❤️

  6. A Requisition is just an official order laying claim to the use of property or materials. But they probably aren't gonna go about it in an official way like that or they will be viewed in a negative light by their subjects, which they don't want and is why they're trying to avoid extra taxes in the first place. So I don't think they need to necessarily straight up Ketil, I think they're going to use the son in some sort of way to paint Ketil as a traitor to take his farm that way, or make the son make some sort of grave mistake, in which the only way Ketil can save his life is by giving up his entire farm as payment.

  7. I’ve just only clocked this from watching this reaction but from what I understood, I think Leif was searching for Thorfin the usual way he has been, and someone matched the description, only when he found him it was his now adopted son, because his son said it may be another situation to his, and rather than say it’s not him, Leif adopted him

  8. I have this gut feeling that Canute wants to use Olmar's dumbass to create some kind of justification so he can take part of or all of the farmland of his father, that seems like the smartest thing to do. I also respect the hell out of Canute for focusing on using the wealthy insted of the normal people because raising taxes as soon as he became Denmark's king is dumb as hell

  9. For those who are interested in reading along with the manga, this episode adapted the entirety of chapters 75-76 (the last five pages of chapter 73 and all of chapter 74 appear to be getting rearranged in when/where the anime will adapt them).

Wulf, the Captain of the Guard (also known by the Norse term “Head Thegn” in the manga) that Canute spars with, is likely based on the real-life Ulf Thorgilsson, commonly known as Ulf Jarl. Who in real-life ended up becoming Canute’s brother-in-law by way of marriage to Canute’s sister Estrid (who we see at the beginning of this episode as well).

Also Leif already had children (biological ones) from the very beginning of the series (the one refusing to delay their itinerary by 10 days was one of them). Most of them were in fact older than Thorfinn. And Bug-Eyes got adopted by Leif after the latter freed Bug-Eyes, which itself was a byproduct of Leif’s search for Thorfinn.

  10. I feel for people that dropped this after S1 because they thought characters like Canute made no sense or they thought Thorfinn was too one dimensional. Seeing Canute develop from S1 to now is making me believe this could be one of the best villain origin stories I've seen.

  11. WATCH KUROKO NO BASKET PLEEEEEAAAASEEEE!!!! it’s and old anime but it is seriously better than most modern ones ❤

  12. Canute from talk no jutsu to tatakae, Thorfinn from tatakae to talk no jutsu oh the Parallel

  13. Remember Canute is trying to build a paradise. It’s the curse of crown you have to make difficult decisions for the better of your country. Also I’m England he made sure his troops wouldn’t plunder and rape anyone. He’s a great written character, but yeah major side eye to what he’s doing.

  14. Besides the adopted Thorfinn, Leif has four sons (Mors, the guy that says not to go to Ketil’s farm, being one of them)
