This old trapper cabin at Nine Mile on the St. John River was built by Camille Beaulieu. He died in 2006. In 2015 the “Lost Cabin Hunters” who are now called the “Maine Cabin Masters” renovated the cabin installing a standing seam metal roof and flooring. In this episode I returned to the cabin to clean up the site and straighten out the cabin so I can then jack and level it. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the wildlife, and the sights and sounds of nature. Campfire cooking and hammock camping with my dog.

This cabin is an official North Maine Woods campsite and is open to the public on a first come first served basis.#logcabin #offgrid #cabinbuilding
