Bit of a rant but:
I'm so pissed and angry. I thought I could dismiss this concern I had but my god, there so many idiots making my fears come true. "Not enough action, this ain't character growth". Shut up, Vinland Saga was never supposed to be purely Viking violence. The sad part is that so many young kids started Vinland Saga for that reason, couldn't comprehend anything the show was trying to tell past "yay edgy Viking boy commits cool acts of violence, my shonen appetite is fulfilled". Thorfinns character development is displaying the opposite of what so many shonen tropes encourage; fight violence with violence. When I read Thorfinn's vow against violence in the manga, I prayed that people wouldn't drop the series just because Thorfinn isn't going to fight anymore. I really hope that the mature audience outweights the immature ones. Thanks for the amazing uploads, I always look forward to them.
For context: 20:10 is symbolic of Thorfinn now following the very same path which his father tried to walk. I know that seems obvious but Thors mentioned in S1 how he had not yet become a true warrior, he was still trying to attain it. Now that Thorfinn has understood what Thors meant, he can now inherit his will
