Megalobox 2: Nomad is everything you’ll want in a sequel as it uses the core themes of redemption and inequality from season one as a foundation to be further built upon in season two. Because of this Megalobox 2: Nomad doesn’t only feel like its predecessor as it displays an impressive evolution from the past with more fleshed-out character arcs of returning characters and a darker narrative with the new characters of the show. If you enjoyed season one, prepare to have your expectations blown out of the water by season two. Basically, it’s a masterpiece. Go watch it.

I loved this show. As a shitty amateur fighter I felt like it did an incredible job of capturing the emotional experience of competition as well as provided a very frank look at where fighters tend to end up near the end of their careers.
Megalo Box season 2 is an actual masterpiece, and such an achievement – for a sequel no one really asked for to elevate a show so much and grow so perfectly from the first. The way the themes were developed was incredible. Totally agree man, great video.
