Suikoden V ( Genso Suikoden 5 ) is a Japanese role playing game (J-RPG) developed by Konami and Hudson Soft for the PlayStation 2 in 2006. Suikoden created by Yoshitaka Murayama loosely based on the classical Chinese novel Shui Hu Zhuan ( Water Margin / All Men Are Brother ). Suikoden 5 takes place approximately 10 years before the events of the first Suikoden game and 142 Years after Suikoden IV. The story of Suikoden V centers on the political struggles of the Queendom of Falena which result in Civil War.
The game like usual have regular battle, duel and War now more like a RTS. Suikoden V have one (not to) silent protagonist named Freyjadour Falenas. They bring back number of character participate in battle from 4 to 6, they also bring back battle skill. I think this is the best Suikoden Game in term of story and gameplay.
Suikoden V storyt focus on Prince of Falena (officially name is Freyjadour Falenas) whom travels the world, acquiring allies and dealing with the problems of the nation. The player was pit between Godwin Faction and Barows Faction. Like usual, the involvement of true rune also here, that is the Sun Rune with Dawn Rune and Twilight Rune. The story really great with War, battle, backstabbing, rebellion and civil war on it.
Suikoden was famous for its great Story plot and lots of lots of character, with the best plot or story. It also bring our Suikoden Character from former game like Ted, Jeane, Georg and Viki.
This game has so many cool and interesting character. It has 108 character to recruits called star of destiny, you could make your castle (headquarter) own your army. There are also many character outside 108 stars of destiny.
I mostly use Cyril [Stephanie Nutter] Guide from gamefaqs as a reference, this is not a blind playthrough.
This video is a Let’s Play, but since i use a walkthrough , it will make a perfect playthrough with more sidequest and secret content shown. I also will recruit all 108 star of destiny / character. This game will also get the best ending (and will show you a few bad ones). Also I Will skip most of the boring part like dungeon crawling, move from one place to other, regular battle. But i will keep talk to NPC and will show you what they talk about, i will also show Boss Battle. I will never skip any cut scene. I will skip most random encounter Battle.

Cathari : Let me guess. You want to spar with me, right?
Hazuki : Very astute. Well, to the point, then… You carry the first “gun” I’ve ever seen. And — this is embarassing — if I came across someone like you in a fight, I wouldn’t know what to do. So…pardon me for asking, but… I have to know: Can you fight a gun with a sword? And if so, how?
Urda : Hey! I came here to get away from talk like that! Can you not discuss violence in the bath?
Hazuki : Oh, uh… apologies. That was inconsiderate of me.
Urda : Hmph. You humans. Why are you all so barbarous? If you’re not out killing someone, you’re talking about killing someone. You make those horrible guns…
Hazuki : ……
Cathari : You think guns are scary? Elven arrows are worse by a long shot, if you ask me.
Urda : How can you say that?
Cathari : There’s only a handful of guns in the world, let alone on the battlefield, so they haven’t killed many people. Now, how many people do you think have died from arrow fire? Hundreds? Thousands? Is that not horrible?
Urda : You’re just splitting hairs!
Cathari : Then tell me. What about guns makes them “horrible” to you?
Urda : Wh-What about them? They make inexplicable sounds and belch fire and shoot iron bullets! What could be worse?
Cathari : Technically, it’s lead, not iron. But, basically, she’s right.
Hazuki : Wait — pardon?
Cathari : Simply put, guns are “inexplicable.” They’re an unknown. People fear that, especially in a weapon.
Hazuki : You’re saying guns are merely a… bluff tactic?
Cathari : Pretty much, so far. Guns are still under development. They don’t fire as quickly as arrows, or as accurately… Once you know that, they’re not all that difficult to deal with.
Hazuki : I – I see. I understand! Thank you for the insight.
Cathari : Don’t mention it. But here’s the thing… You don’t carry a gun without learning everything about it. So if the bluff tactic doesn’t work, we have backup plans. All kinds.
Hazuki : Wh…? So, wait! Does that make everything you said completely useless? Cathari, wait!!
Urda : …… Barbarous. Every last one of them.
