Some suggestions to play better,
1. Get a good device if you can. I rarely play rhythm games on a smartphone because the sensitivity of touchscreen is not good. Many factors can affect the playing quality, e.g. temperature of the device.
2. Chase notes by ears, not by eyes.
3. For sliding notes, first focus on the correct timing of the first note and the last note, then try to slide between them with even speed.
4. Relax and Enjoy.
My preference,
1. No Bluetooth headphone.
2. Use index fingers, middle fingers and ring fingers to play.
