Once Peggy got traction, she was a force of nature.
Elizabeth Moss is phenomenal but l rarely see any praise for Vincent Kartheiser who is hands down amazing. His performance in the show is one of my favorites ever. I wish we could see more of his work.
Their relationship is so strange, it just doesn’t fall into any of the TV show stereotypes. Pete is such a slimy lying prick, essentially he just wants Peggy to adore him all heart-eyed and obediently open her legs for him again. But still, there is some tiny part in his attitude that does ring true. They have something in common, some weird connection that might still be there even if the baby never happened.
Peggy is a richly written character and it surprises me that she and Pete hooked up. I would've thought Hildy would be targeted by him instead of Harry.
why would she ever choose him, after all of those fat jokes. He's an asshole, now he got what he deserved. Peggy made the right decision for her own well being

well, I know it's very old clip xD I've seen thisagain today and think- he just mess with her feelings, why on earth he is telling her that "I wish I've picked you then" if he doesn't even consider a divorce. it's all about power, he had awful father and somehow with women Pete wants to regain his power to control situation. maybe he has some feeling for her but it is not enough to live with her because divorce is too risky in the beginning of his career. so sad, does he even for a second think what she feels? he thinks that women after a sex is automaticly in a romantic relationship with him?

Try watching the show with a girl who has been through a divorce where her husband cheated on her numerous times with multiple women. i’m watching a show depressed that I never hit my stride like Don and she’s watching it depressed about all of the shit that her exit. Makes for a rough ride. Thank goodness for alcohol. And it’s probably not by accident at this show basically invite you to have drinks with them the entire time. totally by design
