“Departure” is the last episode of Arknights Season 1 for the time being before the new season “Arknights: PERISH IN FROST”. It is pretty much a closing episode for chapter 3 as Misha is sadly being killed off for switching sides to the Reunion. But what fascinated me more is how Amiya will change from now on as she realises her idealogy may not be as affected. Well, we just have to see in Season 2 than for any chance for her character progression.

I agree, Amiya is not really the type of girl for my taste too
I gave the anime 7/10, quite enjoyable but some areas I did not like its really on the characters
strong 8,5/10 maybe even higher, it covered weaker part of the game pretty well, Ch'en became even bigger waifu (if its possible). Probably will end in top 5 above animes like Chainsaw man ( or finally it will showw rly good, so far 7/10). Tho nothing can beat Bocchi in this season xD
Tho Season 2 of Arknmights will rly be awesome.
This is a crazy ending for a season
7.5 because episode 4 and 5 kinda weak for me, but as a player who read all the game story, I'll give it solid 8. They did a great job covering the weakest chapter in Arknights, also this is their first big anime project! I really appreciate their hard work! I can see they really care and love Arknights
animation ain't the best, art style okay i guess but not the best. it ended too quickly feels bad. but more of a gamer and don't mind if the anime is bad only here to see the characters in anime. it ended so quickly im sad
W is actually a good character and she is on my top 5 operator list along with Liskarm, Texas, Platinum and Vigna
maybe the true arknight was the friend we made along the way
im playing arknights and yeah solid 7.5/10 for me, its make a justice for the weakest story in the arknights…i suspect season 2 perish in frost will be covering arc 4-6 in the game where the story will be 300% better in that point onwards…
Next arc is gonna be a blast considering chapter 4 where the story get really better

Mind you that Amiya is still a 14 years old and she being a leader of a well known pharma company, the burden on her shoulder is massive. She is very mature at her age but very naive at the same time.
Your feeling to W is normal. For us game players, nobody likes W before Chapter 7 as well.
More specifically the Darknights Memoir sidestory released right before Chapter 7.
So after season 2 (most likely covering Chapters 4 to 6), they need to either release a gekijouban (movie) covering Darknights Memoir or including it in the 3rd season
Actually you didn't have to wait for the season 2 announcement, it's in the episode itself, right after you stopped the video…
ps For me when I am watching the last episode of any anime I always watch till the last second because any information of subsequent series will always be displayed in that last few seconds.

I quite enjoyed this show absolutely great, I'm so excited for the second season! 8/10
and also I don't agree with your complaint about amiya, sure she's young and naive, but I truly think that's the kind of person we may need in this world of chaos and tragedy, yes the road may be hard and death will follow you and you may not find those ideals you sort for, but as long you have people around you who will follow you to the ends of the earth you may find something even greater than those ideas, but if you go a stray for your path and been ruthless and doing everything by force just to achieve your ideals, I doubt you'll find anything at all only despair will be at the end.
