    When you realized that Tensa Zangetsu "hybrid form" during this arc was actually foreshadowing Ichigo true bankai in TYBW xD

    ichigo was on such another level of power, could literally catch a sword swing from the guy, slice aizen in an instant, but instead decides to use that 1 move that stops him being able to have spiritual pressure without a garentee of it finishing him. i really really dont understand this fight at the end.

    there was a lot of training and get super op moments in anime but this by far the most stupid it's not fair for aizen who spent years planning

    I always thought Gin was such a cool character, then when I saw he was holding back against Ichigo and turned out to be a protagonist it made his character development that much better

    If you're wondering why Aizen didn't use Bankai in this fight, Ichigo became immune to Aizen's Bankai when he grabbed Kyouka Suigetsu's blade. Aizen's Bankai can only be used on someone already under Kanzen Saimin / Complete Hypnosis. This is stated in a recent expanded universe novel Bleach Spirits Are Forever With You. The novel isn't necessarily confirmed canon, but it explains why Aizen didn't use Bankai on Ichigo.
    You can also kind of understand why Aizen was never pushed to use Bankai for the rest of the series. His Shikai is powerful enough on its own in conjunction with Aizen's already monstrous strength. No one was "worthy" of his Bankai except maybe Dangai Ichigo, but he was too arrogant to use it at the start of the fight.
