I like to imagine this segment from Jotaro's perspective, you just woke up from something that really felt like the craziest fever dream you ever had, as soon as your recently reobtained memory clicks back together and gets processed by your body and you remember your mission and zooms to the battleground, when you're getting close you just see some random ass mexican woman flying at max speeds in your direction, mountains and moutains of broken shit (and corpses), several soldiers scared shitless by the fact that everytime they attempt to approach the station all their stuffs just flips and get sent flying, two mfs just crashing at high speeds into the ground and you can feel your daughter, who you just ran all the way from across the country to rescue almost f_cking dying , and then the speedwagon foundation member with you just casually goes "oh and btw some kid we've never seen before and didnt knew existed until a little ago was the one to give your disc back, we got his number, but a satelite was burst just sometime ago we idk if the msg is gonna get across"

That's how Jotaro can tell where Jolyne is and what she's doing. Remember, families in Jojo's have a powerful connection to each other. Jonathan's body could send his family members signals through their bloodline. It's always been that way, although it's easy to forget that the Joestars have it too since they don't use it much until this part.
