I continue to enjoy your coverage of these episodes.
Perhaps a more efficient method of heating the water would be an enhancement of the water wall + fireball technique. Perhaps he could establish an entire fire wall on top of the fire wall. If that is not possible, maybe sandwich a fire wall between two water walls. The point would be to use a spell with more total heat to impart than his relatively weak fireballs.
Goblins and kobolds are not the same thing, what was shown here was your typical goblinoid, just like in goblin slayer.
Kobolds are typically small humanoids with a fusion of lizard like and/or dog like features. Cowardly but cunning and well versed in using traps to secure advantage.
Reptiillian breeds sometimes claim to have a distant draconic heritage.
