    Definitely one of the most unique voices in music. I respect the fact she did it all with her own style and without being over sexualized like a lot of women end up being. As a kid in the eighties I always had a crush on her, just because she was so unusual (and cute), and I was always the weird goofy kid in the group.

    Classic and Timeless. Only Cyndi Lauper can sing this and make me drop tears of happiness from the nostalgia her singing brings. Some of my best years include her and and presence including the years I was into watching wrestling. No matter the song, Cyndi sings so beautifully I can't help but love her music. Thank you for all your wonderful artistic masterpieces in music. Your music continues to be a blessing in my life.

    BEAUTIFUL!! I went through a divorce 9 years ago and I scheduled a session with a marriage counselor. She went to 1 session and then served me papers. But I went to the second session solo and the counselor told me to listen to this. Yes, I was a child when this song came out, but still. It's a beautiful song.
