A detail they didn't add in the anime due to obvious reasons is that the people that attempted to kill Weather were KKK members and they even dressed in hoodies in the manga

so pucci actually is black or well mixed, alot of people misinterpret the italian part in the manga too lol, but its their mom who has italian heritage and the only reason that was brought up was to explain why pucci became a priest (the italian heritage in question was a really famous priest in the 1800s)

i just finished part6 of jojo but because of this reaction video, i learned that weather report has no hat at all, just a wacky haircut
I totally agree with Roshi that it's basically Pucci's fault to make things end up so badly. He had so many ways to handle it better, but he chose the most stupid way.
If only Pucci just let Weather know the truth, for sure Weather would have found a milder way to break up with Perla without letting her know the situation. Or if Pucci wanted to follow the rule of a priest and treat the contents of the confessional confidentially, he could have let Weather's adoptive mother know that her son was dating the daughter of Pucci. She would have to let Weather break up with Perla.
The root reason of Pucci's behavior lies in his indifference to Weather. He treated Weather as if he was his enemy without showing tiny little bit of sympathy to his biological brother. That shows how selfish & hypocritical Pucci was and how unsuitable he was for a priest.
Imagine if there was an anime that shows the KKK (yeah if you don't know those guys are the KKK)

Well to be fair, im not religious, but I understand that you cant just tell a priest in training to forget his beliefs and break his oath. Its not a “job”, its a life style. Even tho he accidentally hired the KKK, harassing his siblings is not the way to go. Its not an easy fix is what im trying to say.
