This was the first anime I ever owned a box set of. I bought it in an FYE in my local mall before it was demolished. I didn't know what the series even was at the time, I just liked the box art and bought it.
Vash's chipper attitude and gunslinging shenanigans really endeared me to him. And I've been a lifelong fan ever since. My favorite anime of all time. May not have been the most groundbreaking animation or story, but it's gold in my eyes.
He's my hero. I love Trigun so much that I'm worried about the coming series. I don't want to be judgemental but it seems they've screwed everything up.
