Trigun has made an unexpected comeback, although, what was most surprising was the medium used for this reboot. However, what can we expect on the visual side and who is the studio behind it? Well, join me today as we explore all that and more in today’s video!

  1. The original Trigun series is a masterpiece. Considering the restrictions of budget for animation with most anime, they made quite a good show. Hopefully Orange can make something watchable.

  2. It honestly looks like its a saturday morning kids show rather than a gritty, action, comedy for teens and adults.

  3. I’m fine with the cg. I just don’t like the new look of vash. She looks like a gen Z hipster. I better appreciated the old look because it reminded me of the old west. And I identified with that a lot because I grew up in the American south west.

  4. The CG looks good despite fuckboy Vash. The trailers have greatly interested me, so I'm sure it'll be a good remake.

  5. I'm sorry
That's a really weak looking knockoff. Nothing about that Twink estrogen noodle screams VASH. 👎

  6. i been praying for a trigun remake and youre telling me.. its happening and its fucking cg..? if they fuck this up idk what im gonna do

  7. Spike Head! Thats important design for Vash. And please the gun design was jarring for me, because in the Manga anda Remake Manga, the gritty and raw power of gunpowders made was and is still the lives and vibes for this manga!
Compare to the redesign of the gun (Vash's White Underbarrel Revolver is so iconic that if you dont use it then it is not your everyday Vash) and Wolfwood Crossgun with laser (it is just yuck to this point).
I know I love another take in Trigun manga to anime or other platform made it gain more fanbase and we the early fans can smile to meet the old friend Vash, but please dont alienate the Early Fanbase to made this acceptable in terms of new marketing.
Another take of mine is Trigun is based on Dark and Spiritual thought of us Human to create and play God, so despite the fun and engaging action, I really hope the true massage aren't lost. 🙏

  8. Studio orange working on this is probably the most hype thing about it. The modern era being what it is, I’m not exactly comforted by them talking about leaving behind aspects of the manga (which was not fully explored in the original show anyways) in favor of modern sensibilities. That coupled with the fact that the shows produced by Crunchyroll and Sony, which has become notorious for their Censorship tendencies, I have my concerns to say the least.

  9. The redesigns are absolutely dogshit. I grew up with Trigun, one of my favorite '90's anime and the "modernized" look of the new designs feels so generic and uninteresting. Thats my opinion, if you like it…. Well, let's just leave it at that.

  10. Ong if I see one of my bros recommending the remake I'm cutting them off lol

  11. I think the change in hair is wack. It is an overused style and doesnt really fit his character at all. But I understand the reason. I think the glasses should have been kept the same too but it looks nice

  12. I saw Beastars, the one series orange gets praise for on a regular basis, and it was gash. No idea why anyone praises it. The animation is choppy af. So my hope for this isn’t very high.

  13. I'd take rougher animation with a top notch artsyle over 3d art and incredible animation. IMO something is lost even in the best 3d. 2d animation allows a sort of 'stretchiness' to things that adds a significant layer of dynamism to the visuals. Also fine detail is definitely lost. While 2d can be quite inconsistent in that department you still get those shots where the detail is impeccable, while 3d is typically more consistent, never hitting the lows of some of the weakest 2d panels, it never hits those highs either. This is my experience with 3d so far anyway.

I guess it's all irrelevant anyway as even if Trigun Stampede had the best visuals we'd ever seen, the horrible redesigns would be taking me out of the experience constantly because they fuckin suck. How do you mess up a man in a suit? Honestly…

  14. i can deal with CG in some things Berserk i was unhappy because what made the series was the dark gritty art where trigun on the other hand didnt i love the series and art but im not upset about it, im going to give it a go and i have high hope.

  15. 6:12 expensive software?
last time i checked blender is free and it was even used on the latest evangelion movie, so its industry ready, of course that depend on what you want to do with it.

    animating with computers IS cheaper.
if you want to draw a single frame 2D is cheaper, but once you put the character in a lot of positions then 3D pay off with economics of scale.
unless you have tons of details (that would be expensive regardless ) and assets you will only see once, then 3D is cheaper, but then you can mix 2D with 3D

  16. Having only seen what's in this video, I have a problem with the shading on the models. It's hard to describe exactly what feels wrong, but I think it is that all of the characters are very "pastel" and smooth, while the backgrounds are more crunchy and look like they have texture. Like, looking at them in the car at 5:07 the characters and the background look like they are from two different shows.

  17. Trigun never got a proper manga adaptation. Doesn’t sound like it ever will.
