In October 2023, the series of Magic Knight Rayearth will be 30 years old, but CLAMP is already in a celebratory mood. The manga was re-released in the new CLAMP PREMIUM COLLECTION edition with never-before-seen cover illustrations and a postcard with illustrations from the first issue. In this same period we have the reprint of the first chapter of Rayearth in Nakayoshi magazine (October/November 2022) and the reprint of the two artbooks from 1995 and 1996. The music is by Léo Delibes (1836-1891), a french composer who composed much music for opera and ballet including Coppélia (1870), a ballet based on the story “Der Sandmann” (“The Sand Man”) by E.T.A. Hoffmann, published in 1815. It was the first classical ballet to include folk dances such as tsardas, mazurkas and polkas making it more realistic and giving it regional characteristics.
Le Prière (The Prayer) was the song I chose because it reminds me of Princess Emerald’s prayers for Zefir.

Em outubro de 2023 a serialização de Guerreiras Mágicas de Rayearth completará 30 anos mas o CLAMP já está em clima de comemoração. O mangá foi relançado na nova edição CLAMP PREMIUM COLLECTION com ilustrações de capa inéditas e um postal com ilustrações da primeira edição. Neste mesmo período temos a reimpressão do primeiro capítulo de Rayearth na revista Nakayoshi (outubro/novembro de 2022) e a reimpressão dos dois artbooks de 1995 e 1996. A música é de Léo Delibes (1836-1891), compositor francês que compôs muita música para ópera e ballet incluindo Coppélia (1870), ballet baseado no conto “Der Sandmann” (“O Homem da Areia”) de E.T.A. Hoffmann, publicado em 1815. Foi o primeiro ballet clássico a incluir danças folclóricas como czardas, mazurcas e polcas tornando-o mais realista e conferindo características regionais. Le Prière (A Prece) foi a música que escolhi porque me faz lembrar das preces da Princesa Esmeralda por Zefir.
